The team of Professor Vincent Probst goes back into time to find the gene responsible for a genetic fault : the shrinking of the aorta. It is the inhabitant of a small village in Vendée who transmitted the faulty gene to his descendants. Patricia Lemarchal imagines herself into the future injecting to some patients who suffer from particularly serious heart illnesses cells that were taken from their own bone marrows.

In 1959, the lightning destroyed the church of Saint-Tugdual which was situated in the heart of Brittany. Since it was rebuilt, a huge red wall without any meaning covered the back of the altar and traumatized the faithful ones. In 2004, the chief education officer Henri Goyallan ordered a painting to the painter Yannig Goyallan. The film follows over nearly 18 months the intellectual and spiritual path of the artist whose aim is to entirely build a monumental piece of work.
